Goodbye old friend

Our dear friend Tegun

Unfortunately his time has come. He has lived a long life with us as his people. Tegun joined his doggie daddy Junior on Monday. Even though the house feels so empty we know that our watchful Tegun is still watching over us. We will always remember you and we will miss you forever...

So, what now? Well I am going to clean and organize my house, get to know my kids and husband again, try to find a job, take the dreaded NCLEX test so that I can be licensed, and maybe, just maybe I'll read a book that I WANT to read...

Go RED DEVILS!

Cameron has been working hard... attending pre-season practices... tending to his injuries and pressing on... all of this has paid off because last week he went through 2 sets of try-outs and made the freshman baseball team!!!!

Honestly, I was almost in tears when he gave me the thumbs up after reading his name off the paper on the door.

I have never played for a school team or anything like that, I guess I am not much of a competitor... Cameron really seems to enjoy it so I am happy for him.

Baseball season going to be another chapter in our lives.

We are so excited!

Chad wouldn't let Cam go "hang out" until he uttered the words "Can I go play?" Because cam always says that they don't "play" they "hang out"... and then after all of that, he decided not to go!!!!

So, when I saw this face after she caught her worm, all I could think of was the opening credits to the show... I guess in this case it would be...

There she goes... my sweet baby, headed up to the doors of her school....

She is so big... her favorite part of school so far is riding the bus home "without a seatbelt!" This is actually her 3rd day of school but it is the 1st time I could take her because I was at school/clinicals myself. Don't worry, I cried both days I was away and called to check on her several times... I am a big dork! Casey never shed a tear.
